David's Involvement in his Community

As a young child and through my adolescent  life, I was raised by my wonderful mother, Eleanor.  She always taught and explained to me, the importance of giving back to the community that you live and work in.   As a boy and young man, I was the youngest of four children and my mother did the very best she could given her limited financial resources and income.  Being raised fatherless since the age of two, and realizing that others in our community reached out many years ago to support my family and me financially, I knew that it was time for me to “Give Back”.

I am proud to say that I am actively involved with the “Big Brother’s Big Sister’s St. Catharine’s/Thorold Agency” as a board of director for the past four (4) years.   This non-profit agency helps over 1,000 children in our community to provide many different mentoring programs for boys and girls.

In addition, I am also a board member of the local Niagara Family and Children Services (FACS) Foundation.   This non-profit organization covers the entire Niagara Region and I am proud to support these activities with vigor and pleasure.  There is no greater satisfaction than helping those individuals who are less fortunate than we are.  These children will become OUR future. Support them, help them and be there for them when needed.
