Data Entry Clerk-Contact Mgmt tax & general office duties

ROLE OUTLINE:

• This position will appeal to student or retiree with good computer and communication skills in a small office.  Profile/tax & Assante processing interest an asset. We hire for attitude and train for skills.  A chance to enjoy skiing & hiking in the Canadian Rockies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact management updates using Bill good contact Management updating client/prospect records.
• Multi-tasking,  email updates using outlook.
• General small office duties as filing, assemble reports, mail & tax return assistance.
• Telephone & concierge service to set appointment files and service follow up.
• Cross-training


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Experience

• Minimum one year experience in a small office environment. Fast & accurate typing & computer skills w Microsoft word, outlook, outlook, email, excel software.
• Previous client management-data entry experience and Profile tax return software and investment back office processing familiarity helpful.
• Cheery team player who can adapt to multi-tasking n a busy office and willing to accept minor office administrative duties.
• Job satisfaction through self motivation by customer service appreciation with a genuine concern to help improve our customer service and company efficiency/profitability.

Education/Training

• Grade 12 or college diploma with interests in tax planning & returns, IFIC, CFP & financial planning.
• Tax  or financial interest for additional cross training.
• One year general small office on the job training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• General Knowledge of tax & investment industry back office practices.
• Contact management to update client files.
• Mail and email communication to assist on marketing campaigns.
• Good English communication and telephone manner to greet clients.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Proficient (i.e. word, excel, outlook).
• Customer service skills.
• Overseas travel/working experience an asset to relate with our global Canadian clients.
• Ability to learn quickly with cross training.
• General office and staff assistance in tax, communication and investment areas.
