Assante Capital Management Ltd is one of Canada’s leading Wealth Planning Firms, providing comprehensive financial planning to Canadians. An exciting opportunity is available in our Mississauga location, to provide financial administrative support to one of our Senior Financial Advisors in their Wealth Management practice.

This highly motivated individual will also provide executive assistant support and will play an active role in a growing business, based in excellent offices, centrally located. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing and executing all investment and insurance transactions and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain client files, databases, and coordinate administrative projects
  • Prepare reports, research and materials for client meetings
  • Schedule and confirm all appointments for advisors
  • Build and maintain long term client relationships
  • Play an active role in marketing projects and practice development activities

EDUCATION:

  • University degree/college diploma or relevant work experience
  • IFIC or CSC course preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience in the financial services field. 
  • Customer Service experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Superior verbal and written communications
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Good problem solving, analytical abilities and follow through
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to embrace a structured approach to business practices
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities including meeting of deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Windows based applications including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of Maximizer or ACT an asset

  • An ability to seeks ways to improve processes, quality service and client support
