Jan Sampson

Vice-President, Channel Initiatives

Jan Sampson was appointed Vice President, Channel Initiatives of Assante Corporation in May 2006.

Prior to her appointment, Jan held the position of Chief Operating Officer of IQON Financial. Having been with IQON since 1997, she held roles of increasing responsibility as the dealership was grown from a Manitoba-based start up into a national firm supporting many of Canada's leading independent advisors. At the time of CI Financial's purchase of IQON in June 2004, Jan was appointed Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for providing overall leadership to the distribution channel.

Before joining IQON, Jan gained experience at Manulife and North American Life, playing a key role with the transition and integration of the North American Life group retirement savings business with that of Manulife.

Jan has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba.
