Public alert for a scam involving a company called "Assante Financial Incorporation"

We have become aware of a fraudulent scam operating in North America by a company called "Assante Financial Incorporation". We would like to inform you that this company is not related in any way to Assante Corp. or any of our related companies.

The RCMP, the FBI and the Better Business Bureau have been made aware of the situation. If you receive a communication from Assante Financial Incorporation, please contact your local authorities or Phonebusters (a joint RCMP/OPP initiative) at 1-888-495-8501.
