I have invited Jean Pierre Laporte, CEO of Integris Pension Management Corp. who invented the concept of Personal Pension Plans to come and give us an overview of this concept. Currently, Integris in partnership with Industrial Alliance is the only provider of these type of plans in Canada.
Personal Pension Plans is a structure that can be extremely effective for Private Corporations, especially in light of the current tax changes. It is a great opportunity to learn about one of the best kept secrets in the pension and retirement planning world and ask any questions you may have.

Proceeds from the 7th Annual Joy of Aging event will help fund the purchase and installation of a Vital Sign machine at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Vital Sign machines are used daily in virtually every area of the hospital. They are used to monitor patients’ vital signs, including their heart beat, blood pressure, breathing rate and temperature. Vital Sign Monitors allow continuous patient monitoring and help physicians and nurses be more efficient. An increasing number of patient conditions and procedures require this level of monitoring. It is important for every woman to know the risk factors and recognize the signs of heart disease and stroke. Your gift toward the purchase of a new vital sign machine at Mackenzie Health will help healthcare professionals collect the right information to help prevent and manage cardiovascular diseases.
This year, I was a sponsor for the 7th Annual Portraits of Giving event. This unique exhibit celebrated dedicated and giving people from York Region, through photography and personal stories.
I presented the award to Melanie Delicato - Richmond Hill Honoree.

Proceeds from the fifth annual Joy of Aging event will help fund the purchase and installation of a second permanent and more powerful Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Sixty percent of all MRI scans are performed on women. Earlier diagnosis means earlier prescribed treatment plans and greater chance of survival.
