Assante Wealth Management hosts memorable client appreciation event at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection
On September 27, 2017, members of the Assante Group of Seven Wealth Advisors and their clients gathered for an art and music-filled evening at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. The client appreciation night marked the final event of the one-year partnership between the McMichael and Assante Wealth Management.
Throughout the evening, 130 guests were treated to a dinner and exclusive galleries showcasing premier pieces of the McMichael collection, including the Group of Seven Guitar Project, an exhibit recognizing the contributions of the Group of Seven in the history of Canadian art.
The project turned out to be one of the night’s biggest highlights, as Linda Manzer, Tony Duggan-Smith and Grit Laskin, three of the luthiers who were part of the project, gifted a private performance. The performance was led by an in-depth discussion on their contributions to the project moderated by Sarah Stanners, Director, Curatorial & Collections at the McMichael.
“The dinner at the McMichael was one of the most unique experiences that I have been able to offer my clients,” said Tina Tehranchian, a member of the Assante Group of Seven Wealth Advisors and Chair of the McMichael Moonlight Gala. “I felt especially proud for having spearheaded this initiative at Assante and wish to thank my colleagues who formed the Group of Seven Wealth Advisors and the executive team at Assante for making this historic partnership with the McMichael happen.”
As part of the one-year partnership, Assante Wealth Management and the Assante Group of Seven Wealth Advisors sponsored events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the 150th anniversary of Confederation and more. Members of the group are Tina Tehranchian, Jay Papernick, Wayne Lang, Alex Carter, Janine Purves, Gillian Stovel Rivers, Michael Taglieri, Glenda Baker, Sheila Munch, Dean Taylor, and Ron Nicksy.
