2018 Saskatchewan provincial budget commentary
Finance Minister Donna Harpauer tabled the 2018 Saskatchewan provincial budget on April 10, 2018. The budget forecasts total revenue of $14.24 billion and a total expense of $14.60 billion for a projected deficit of $360 million for 2018-19. Budget surpluses are projected for each of the following three years.
On the tax side, there were no changes to personal or corporate income tax rates for 2018. The budget proposes changes to existing tax credits and introduces new tax credits.
